Nancy E. Lee

Nancy E. Lee Born in Omaha NE, on January 19, 1954. Nancy attended St Benedict and Sacred Heart Elementary, graduating from North High School in 1973. Nancy served in the Army Reserves from July 1975 to March 1978. She was employed by Western Electric for several years; following that she worked as a Platehandler at Omaha World Herald for several years. She later rejoined the World Herald as an Outside Contractor delivering papers since 2010. Nancy loved to travel, she especially loved going to see one of her favorite teams, the Minnesota Vikings, play. Everyone looked forward to her birthday party every year… there was always going to be plenty of food and plenty of fun! Our Nancy really was a social butterfly! Nancy departed this earthly life December 8, 2018, and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Ethel M Lee and Father, William “Bill” Smith. Left to cherish her precious memories are: Two sisters, Toni C. Lee of Omaha, and Norvella Faye (Darrell) Dean of Santa Clarita, CA. Longtime family friend Sherry Nelson; a host of Nieces, Nephews, and many other family members and friends. NANCY WILL FORVER BE REMEMBERED BY MANY AS “DIRTY RED THE THOROUGHBRED.”

Age 66 of Omaha, Nebraska passed away on December 10, 2018 surrounded by his family. Joseph was born in Omaha, Nebraska on September 14, 1952 to Antonio and Pauline (Venditte) Pagnano. He is survived by his wife Kim, sons; Tony Joe Pagnano and wife Candice and Tim Carman, granddaughters; Chelsea and Bailee, brothers; Mike and Pat Pagnano, sisters; Florence, Vickie and Teresa, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Of Gretna, survived by wife: Colette Piccolo  children: Jeanette Piccolo, Theresa (Steve) Linsea, Chris (Renee) Piccolo, Sandy Piccolo and Jeff Piccolo, 8 grandchildren, many nieces & nephews, other family & friends.  Preceded in death by daughter Debora Bercume, parents Subby & Rose Piccolo & sister Nadine Visty.

Joe was the long time Pharmacist in Gretna and owned Gretna Pharmacy. He was a very active and faithful member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Gretna.

Joe loved his family especially his 8 grandchildren. He enjoyed watching old Western’s, playing golf and loved his New York Yankees. People could always hear him whistling away, whether it would be at the store, church or home.

Visitation Tuesday 5:00 – 7:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM all at St. Patrick Catholic Church 508 Angus Street in Gretna, NE, Funeral Mass 10:00 AM  Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church.  In Lieu of Flowers memorials to  St. Patrick Catholic Church or Poor Clare Sisters Of Omaha.

Irene Mary Wilwerding

Of Carroll, IA, preceded in death by parents  William and Marie (Kholes) Wilwerding, brothers Frank, Don and Robert, survived by  twin sister Maureen Duffy (Milwaukee),  brothers Leo (Omaha) and Dennis (Littleton, CO), many nieces & nephews

Irene Wilwerding was a Dubuque Franciscan Sister for 34 Years, she received a BA from Briar Cliff College and a M.A. from Strich College Milwaukee.  She taught in Chicago, Dubuque, Holy Cross, Larchwood and Briar Cliff.  She started a reading program, was coordinator for CCD at Coon Rapids as well as a parish secretary, bookkeeper, sacristan and housekeeper.  Irene retired to Carroll in 1996 where she continued to serve as a housekeeper for Father Robert Fangman.

Visitation with Family 10:00 to 11:00 Tuesday (1/16/2018) at Church, Funeral Mass 11:15 A.M. Tuesday at St. Cecilia’s Cathedral, 701 N 40th St,  Omaha, Interment Calvary Cemetery. Memorials to St. Cecilia’s Cathedral.
